Can you work inside our existing codebase?
Usually. We start with a paid discovery sprint to read the code and tell you honestly whether extending it is cheaper than replacing the part that hurts. Sometimes the answer is that you should not hire us for this.
Do you do the design, or only the development?
Both, and they are not separate phases. The component system and design tokens are built alongside the first screens, which is why the tenth screen costs less than the first. If you already have a design system or Figma files, we build to them instead.
What decides how long a web app takes?
Roles and integrations, mostly — screen count matters less than people expect. A 20-screen app with one user type is often faster than an 8-screen app with four roles, approval flows, and two external systems. The written scope states the timeline drivers so you can see what a cut would save.
How do you handle user roles and permissions?
Access control lives in the database, not just in the interface. Hiding a button is cosmetic; the rule that matters is the one the server enforces when someone calls the endpoint directly. Role-based access is part of the data model from the first migration.
What happens after launch?
You own the code and can take it anywhere, including in-house. If you want us to stay, Care plans cover updates, monitoring, and small changes at a published monthly price — and because the app is built on a component system, your own team can extend it without us.
