StratEdge
The operating system

Not an agency with a website. A company that runs on software.

Client acquisition, scoping, staffing, delivery, quality assurance, contracts, handover, and engineer coordination run on one system that we built and that we use every day. The agency is the first customer.

Modules

Five systems, one database, one permission model

Every module below shares the same tenancy boundary and the same row-level security policies. That is why the client/engineer separation holds — it is one enforcement point, not five.

  • Delivery engine

Projects, milestones, acceptance criteria, and a QA gate enforced as a state machine — illegal transitions are rejected at three layers.

  • Internal opportunity board

Sanitized opportunities, eligibility-filtered visibility, ranked applicants, and assignment with recorded justification.

  • Engineer records

Profiles, skills with proficiency, verification, tiering, performance scoring, and availability that staffing reads directly.

  • Contracts & handover

Contracts and e-signature, milestone approval, and full IP transfer on delivery across 16 countries.

  • Audit & compliance

Append-only log of every status change, permission grant, and export. Seven-year retention, exportable.

The ecosystem

One platform. Multiple businesses.

Agency delivery funds the platform. The platform is the business. Every line below runs on the same operating system, the same engineer network, and the same project operations.

Products — where the margin goes

  • Phase 3

    StratEdge OS

The system we run our own agency on, licensed to other agencies.

  • Phase 4

    API catalog

Metered matching, estimation, and summarization endpoints.

  • Phase 5

    Engineer Academy

Curriculum built from what actually makes delivery succeed.

  • Phase 3

    Templates & prompt libraries

Productized versions of the assets we build repeatedly.

  • Phase 6

    Enterprise consulting

Offshore program design and fractional CTO engagements.

  • Phase 8

    Capacity planning

Forecast bench availability against the incoming project pipeline.

Phase labels are honest. Nothing marked Phase 3 or later exists yet — we are not going to present a sequencing document as a shipped product.

The structural difference

Engineers work behind StratEdge. That is enforced, not promised.

Elsewhere, the client and the contractor talk directly and the platform takes a cut. Here the client relationship belongs to StratEdge — and the separation is implemented in the database, not in a policy document.

Client identity is withheld by default

Opportunities publish the scope only. No organization name, no contacts, no contract value. Disclosure requires owner approval, a signed NDA, and written client consent.

Cross-side messaging has no code path

Engineers cannot be added to a client thread — a database trigger raises on the attempt and row-level security returns zero rows. There is no UI toggle and no API route.

Every state change is audited

Status transitions, assignments, permission grants, and exports write to an append-only log with actor, timestamp, and before/after values. Retained seven years.

AI layer

AI removes the typing. It does not make the decisions.

Sixteen AI features across the platform, every one shaped as a draft a human edits, a signal a human weighs, or a retrieval scoped to what that user could already read.

No automated decision affects payment, assignment, project status, or account standing. Every feature has a manual fallback — nothing in delivery stops when a model provider has an outage.

How we use AI
ai-routerbudget-capped · schema-validated · logged
  • Requirement summarizer
  • Engineer-to-project matching
  • Task breakdown & estimation
  • Delivery summary drafting
  • Risk analysis
  • Proposal generation
  • Code review assist
  • Knowledge search

Client-identifying data is stripped before any request made in an engineering or staffing context. Redaction is enforced at the router, not at the call site.
