StratEdge
Plain answers

Frequently asked questions.

What StratEdge is, how the model works, and what happens when you start a project — stated plainly enough that you do not need a sales call to find out.

What is StratEdge?

StratEdge is a U.S.-based software development company. Clients bring a software project or business problem; StratEdge scopes it, assembles the engineering team, manages execution, and delivers the software through one accountable U.S. contract.

What does StratEdge do?

StratEdge plans, builds, reviews, and ships production software: MVPs, web applications, mobile apps, AI integrations, APIs, internal tools, data engineering, and SaaS products. Fixed-scope work is available at published prices; larger builds get a scoping engagement first.

Is StratEdge a U.S.-based company?

Yes. StratEdge Global LLC is a U.S. legal entity. Contracts, invoices, and accountability run through the U.S. company, with W-9, certificate of insurance, MSA, and DPA available for vendor onboarding.

How does StratEdge's global engineering model work?

StratEdge maintains a vetted engineering network spanning 16 countries. When a project is scoped, engineers are matched to it by skill, tier, delivery history, and timezone overlap with the client. The client works with StratEdge throughout — the global network is delivery capacity, not something the client has to manage.

Can I hire software developers through StratEdge?

Yes — by hiring StratEdge. You describe the project, StratEdge determines the technical requirements and team composition, and assigns vetted engineers to deliver it. There is no browsing or interviewing of individual candidates; the vetting and matching are done for you.

Does StratEdge work with freelance engineers?

StratEdge works with a global network of vetted independent engineers and technical specialists. StratEdge is not a freelance marketplace: engineers are vetted, tiered, and assigned by StratEdge, which manages the client relationship, project scope, quality review, and delivery end to end.

What types of software projects does StratEdge support?

MVP development, web application development, mobile development (React Native and native), AI integration, API and systems integration, internal tools, data engineering, and SaaS development. Smaller fixed-scope outcomes are available as Kits with published prices.

How does starting a project work?

Submit the project through the Start a Project form. StratEdge reviews it and responds within one business day, then runs discovery and produces a written scope with milestones and acceptance criteria before any engineering begins.

How does StratEdge determine the engineering team?

Team composition is an output of scoping. The written scope defines the skills, seniority, and hours the work requires; engineers clearing the tier floor, skill match, and timezone requirement are ranked, and project managers assign the team from that ranking.

How does project management and delivery work?

A StratEdge project manager owns the timeline and communication. Work proceeds milestone by milestone, and every milestone passes an internal quality review against the written acceptance criteria before it reaches the client.

What happens after my project is delivered?

Handover transfers source code, documentation, credentials, and environments, with full IP assignment to the client in writing and the chain of title documented. Ongoing support is available through Care plans.

What does StratEdge cost?

Pricing is published. Fixed-scope packages start under $1,500 and begin without a proposal cycle; larger custom builds are quoted after a scoping call. The pricing page lists every package, what it includes, and what it deliberately does not.
