About
Most offshore engagements fail for the same three reasons.
Not because the engineers are bad. Because nobody owns the translation between what the client meant and what got built, nobody checks the work before it lands, and nobody is accountable when it goes wrong. Three management failures, consistently, across an entire industry.
StratEdge exists to fix exactly those three things and to charge for it honestly.
What we believe
Positions we will act on, not slogans
Buyers want a vendor, not a marketplace
Nobody wakes up wanting to vet contractors, arbitrate scope, and absorb delivery risk. Marketplaces sell access and hand you the hard part. We sell the outcome and keep the hard part.
Ambiguity is the actual defect
Almost every failed project traces back to a requirement nobody nailed down. That is why every milestone here has written acceptance criteria before work starts — and why your approval and our internal review are measured against the same list.
A quality gate you can skip is not a quality gate
Under deadline pressure, optional review gets skipped. Ours is enforced in the system: a milestone cannot reach you without a passing review on record. Not policy — mechanism.
Engineers should never absorb commercial risk
We pay 15 days after client approval regardless of when the client pays. It costs us working capital. It is also why good engineers stay available when we need them.
Free scope creep is dishonest
Agencies that absorb every change silently are not being generous — they are borrowing against the deadline and paying it back with a missed date. We write change orders and you approve them first.
Say the disqualifying thing early
If we are the wrong fit, the useful moment to say so is the first call, not week six. A fast no is worth more to you than a slow maybe, and it costs us less too.
What we will not do
Take work we cannot staff well
If the bench does not have the right skills available in the right timezone, we say so instead of assigning whoever is free and hoping.
Publish case studies we cannot substantiate
Our case studies page is currently empty and says why. It will stay that way until there is client-approved work behind it.
Claim compliance we do not have
We are not SOC 2 certified. The trust page states our actual posture, and the roadmap for getting there.
Quote a number we cannot honor
Our estimator returns ranges. A precise-looking estimate produced before scoping is a number designed to be revised later.
Sell you custom software you should buy off the shelf
If a SaaS product solves your problem for $200 a month, we will name it. We would rather lose a project than build something you will regret owning.
Where we are right now
StratEdge is new. The firm is building its founding client base and its founding engineering bench at the same time, and the platform that runs the delivery process is being built alongside both.
That means early clients get founder-level attention and reference pricing. It also means we do not yet have the track record a larger firm would show you. We think publishing that plainly is better than the alternative, and we would rather win the clients who value it.
The low-risk way to evaluate us is a paid discovery sprint: two weeks, a fixed fee, and you keep the technical specification and the prototype regardless of what happens next.
Have a project in mind?
Bring us the problem. StratEdge scopes it, staffs it, manages it, and delivers it — one accountable company from start to finish.
