What happens if the scope turns out to be wrong halfway through?
We reprioritize within the existing budget rather than pretending the original plan was right. Anything genuinely new becomes a change order you approve before work starts — we do not absorb scope silently and then miss the date.
Do we own the code?
Yes, on payment. IP assignment is in the SOW, and it flows from every subcontractor to StratEdge to you. The chain of title is documented, which matters if you ever raise or sell.
How do you keep an MVP from turning into a two-year project?
The scope names what is deferred, in writing, before work starts. Every feature request during the build gets sorted into "proves the thesis" or "version two" — and version two is a list you own, not a promise we broke. Most MVPs die from addition, not subtraction.
What do I need to have ready before we start?
A decision-maker who can answer questions within a day, whatever exists of your idea in writing, and access to anything the product must connect to. You do not need wireframes, a spec, or a technical cofounder — producing the spec is the first thing we do together.
Who hosts the MVP, and who owns the accounts?
You do. Infrastructure runs in accounts registered to you from day one — hosting, database, domains, email. We build inside them, and at handover there is nothing to transfer because nothing was ever ours.
